About Me

My journey began in 2009 when I first picked up a pair of drumsticks. This initial spark led me to play in several bands, touring the DIY circuit, making independent records, and immersing myself in the art of music from every angle.

In 2017 I found myself gravitating to the recording studio and took a deep dive into production and engineering. Since then, I’ve worked on records across a wide array of genres, from post-hardcore to bubblegum pop. My experience in both the raw, energetic world of live performance and the meticulous, creative process of studio work gives me a unique perspective that I bring to every project.

Musician-first experience

My hands-on experience as a musician has given me a deep understanding of the artist's mindset, work ethic, and the importance of staying true to their vision. Whether we’re capturing the raw energy of a live-tracked band recording or crafting a polished pop production, I make sure the technicalities of making music never overshadow the creativity, and that the creation of each song is a positive and fulfilling experience for everyone involved.

In today’s world of recording, this means embracing a number of different techniques and remaining open at every stage to innovation and experimentation. I firmly believe there is no “one right way” to make records, and because of that I seek to create a unique sonic experience with every project, using whatever tools necessary to make that happen. The only “right way” is the way that works for the artist.
